Trick-or-Treat Street: A Beloved Community Event That Supports the Food Banks in Bethlehem & Woodbury

The Trick-or-Treat Street at Nonnewaug High School on October 25 was a smashing success. This beloved community tradition is held annually by the NHS Student Council for children to have a special kind of trick-or-treat experience through the halls of Nonnewaug. School clubs and organizations host themed stops for costumed trick-or-treaters who are asked to bring one canned good per child for admission.

Representatives from the Woodbury Food Bank and Caring For Bethlehem stopped by NHS on October 27 to pick up the donations from the event - more than 12 bins full of needed non-perishable items to fill the shelves for residents in our community. Thank you to Student Council advisor Josh Kornblut and the Student Council members Ada Gorka, Rylee Gallichio, and Emily Thomas for organizing this fantastic event for our communities.
