NHS LEO Club Decorates Pumpkins for Lions Club Haunted Hayride

The LEO Club at Nonnewaug High School recently met after school to paint pumpkins for use as decorations at the annual Lions’ Club Haunted Hayride event. The Haunted Hayride takes place on October 17, 18, 24, and 25, running from Mitchell Elementary School.

The NHS LEO Club partners with the Woodbury Lions Club on many events throughout the school year, helping them hone their skills as leaders. LEO stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. The pumpkins are donated by the Woodbury Lions Club for display at the Haunted Hayride.
