The Nonnewaug High School counseling department utilizes Naviance Family Connection to assist our students in managing the college application process. All Nonnewaug students and their parents may log in on individual accounts, where they will have access to personal academic information (GPA, SAT scores), career planning tools, college search options, and the ability to compare their own academic credentials with recent NHS graduates who have gained admission to specific colleges and universities across the country. Seniors in the midst of the application process can use the system to manage and track their applications.

Naviance can be a valuable tool for students and parents throughout the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years. While we anticipate heaviest usage among our juniors and seniors, many of our younger students and their parents will find this tool to be helpful in long-term planning.

Other resources provided by Naviance Family Connections are the links to useful websites relating to college information, financial aid, test preparation, NCAA eligibility, etc.

We encourage our students to utilize this website throughout their high school years. By emailing their child's counselor, parents may obtain their own access code to research and review their child's profile.
